Small fleets are being targeted in a new scheme from car supermarket group, Motorpoint.
The group has partnered with Network, a division of LeasePlan, to offer small businesses a new contract hire and leasing operation.
Cars and light commercials will be offered to businesses operating fleets of between one and 25 vehicles.
Various contracts will be available from non-maintained to fully fleet managed.
The company’s public relations manager, Tony Delaney said that this is the first time a car supermarket has offered a leasing facility to business clients.
“It is the right time – with registrations for business-use vehicles holding steady, this gives a reasonable indicator of demand.”
Mr Delaney said most requests for lease vehicles will be met from existing new vehicle stock, while larger or bespoke orders will be supplied through the partnership with Leaseplan, which will also manage the lease contracts.
Motorpoint operations director Paul Winfield added: “We can give business customers – from a single professional to a small fleet operator - a unique opportunity to get exactly what they need at the very best prices.”
