Skoda is preparing to whip the covers off its new flagship model at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new Superb will feature a range of six engines and a unique new tailgate system.

Petrol offerings will be a 125bhp 1.4-litre TSI, a 1.8-litre TSI with 160bhp and a new 3.6-litre FSI V6 with 260bhp, four-wheel-drive and an automatic DSG gearbox.

 

The diesel line-up features a 105bhp 1.9 TDI and two 2-litre TDIs with 140 and 170bhp.

The TWINDOOR tailgate system allows either the boot lid or the whole tailgate to be opened depending on requirements.

The boot volume has been increased by 85 litres to 565 litres.

Other features include the Adaptive Frontlight System which changes the beam depending on driving conditions, and a new satellite navigation system with touch screen technology and a hard drive to store music on.
