Trimble backs charity cycle riders

Fleet news logo

TRIMBLE Mobile Resource Management has joined up with this year’s square to square charity cycle challenge in which a group of firefighters are riding from St Thomas’ Square, Newport on the Isle of Wight to St Peter’s Square in the Vatican City. The GPS vehicle tracking solution firm has fitted out the team’s support vehicles to ensure that the 10 cyclists can remain in constant contact with friends, family and supporters back home throughout their 1,400 mile ride.

Trimble MRM’s TrimWeb system is enabling the charity’s supporters to log on to the internet and get real-time updates of where the team has got to and see a playback of the route they take through France, over the Alps and into Italy.
