New urban van trio the Citroën Nemo, Peugeot Bipper and Fiat Fiorino have been voted international van of the year by a panel of judges from across Europe.

According to the jury, the new van, which is basically the same with three different badges, is ‘a truly innovative product in terms of its dimensions, style, safety content and environmental friendliness’.

They said: “This well designed van is very practical and excellent value for money; its economical features met the jury’s most important criterion of merit, ie the capacity of a vehicle to offer an efficient contribution to goods transport by road.”
