Autoglass survey highlights car crime fears

A new survey commissioned by Autoglass has found that at six out of ten drivers are worried that car crime will rocket in the run-up to Christmas, as the recession continues and unemployment rises.

With a third of motorists having had valuable items stolen from front seats or boots, fleet managers are being warned that Christmas shopping could make easy pickings for thieves.
