DfT funding boost

The money the Department of Transport has to spend this year has been increased - subject to parliamentary approval - by a staggering £584 million.

This takes the Department’s budget for this year to £13.689 billion.

In addition, the Department’s administration budget will be increased by £5 million to £294.5 million.
