LeasePlan named top employer

LeasePlan UK has been recognised as an exemplary employer by becoming the first fleet management firm to be named as a One Star Company under the Best Companies scheme, the programme responsible for the Sunday Times “Best Companies to Work For” list.

The scheme provides a “Michelin style” accreditation to the UK’s best workplaces, with stars awarded as a result of employee feedback and continual benchmarking.

More than 600 companies applied for this year’s scheme, with LeasePlan joining 141 other companies to achieve One Star status.

David Brennan, managing director of LeasePlan UK, said, “We’re dedicated to setting new benchmarks for service and employee engagement within the car leasing industry, so this is fantastic news not just for LeasePlan but for the sector as a whole.

“We’ve worked in recent years to provide an outstanding service to all our customers; part of that means truly engaging and motivating our workforce. Only by creating an environment where all our employees are able to thrive are we able to continue our journey on our current Good to Great strategy."
