First Call cuts claim costs

National Car Rental’s accident assistance service, First Call, has reduced the company’s average accident claims costs by more than 50% on third party claims in its first four months of operation.

If that continues, National will save up to £1.5 million annually. First Call is a freephone number that renters call in the event of an accident.

The service is also available to any third party involved in the accident.
