Mercedes-Benz will be featuring key models from its facelifted range at this year’s Company Car in Action event, which will be held at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, on June 17, 18 and 19.

It is the latest in a string of major manufacturers to sign up for the drive-and-decide event, joining GM, Honda and BMW.

A spokesman for Mercedes-Benz said the firm wanted to ensure its product could be experienced by as many fleet managers and key decision-makers as possible.

The spokesman added: “The main focus for Mercedes-Benz at Company Car in Action will be to introduce the brand new C-Class estate and CLC.

"There will also be the newly facelifted CLS, SLK and SL roadsters.”

If you are a fleet decision-maker and you already receive Fleet News, you automatically qualify for a free driving pass to test the leading fleet models available at CCIA 2008.

Drivers will be able to use circuits designed for testing that are normally closed to the public.

They can compare models back-to-back and discuss their views with experts from each manufacturer.

A Fleet Safety Zone will offer risk management services and a Fleet Tax Beaters section will show off some of the low CO2 emission cars now available to fleet operators.
