How was your first day?
Daunting, but exciting at the same time. The whole team at Ai worked hard to ensure I was made to feel at home.
How does your new role differ from your last job at Guy Salmon Prestige Rental?
Previously I ensured a rental company delivered high levels of customer service – now I ensure I receive high levels of customer service from a rental company.
What has been your greatest challenge in the role so far?
Re-learning a whole new world of company jargon and trying to understand insurance.
And your greatest achievement?
Working with our rental partner to deliver a complete new suite of management information.
How is vehicle rental changing?
From my perspective as a buyer rather than supplier, it’s about trying to achieve the balance between competitive rates against the high levels of customer service we demand.
How do you relax at weekends?
Playing golf, spending time with my family and supporting Newcastle United.
