How was your first day?
Very busy, as it was the launch of the Saab Contract Hire used vehicle sales programme, and we were hosting more than 30 Saab dealers for the event.
How is the remarketing industry changing?
Remarketing is continuing to witness a rapid rate of adoption of online technology to wholesale vehicles for optimum prices.
How does your new role differ from your last job at BCA?
My new role in sales and marketing is national, as opposed to the business development of specific accounts, and sales are online and not at physical auctions.
What has been your greatest achievement at work so far?
Persuading the managing director to drive a car that he
did not want.
And your greatest challenge so far?
To increase Cars Direct’s business volume and raise awareness of the brand within the marketplace.
What item could you not live without?
My mobile phone.
