The newly established Daimler Fleet Management (DFM), which was created on April 1 following the split between Daimler and Chrysler, has signed a deal to supply Durham County Cricket Club with 16 Jeep and Dodge vehicles under a contract hire agreement.

The deal is one of the first for the newly-branded company.

The vehicles were supplied with assistance from one time partner, Chrysler UK, by Kings Teesside Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.

DFM, which operates from the previous Daimler Chrysler premises in Milton Keynes, is a major fleet management company, operating a UK multi-marque fleet of over 49,000 vehicles.

It is a subsidiary of the pan-European Daimler Fleet Management operation, which manages a fleet approaching 470,000 vehicles.
