Entries for the 2008 Fleet Van awards have been rolling since the first day they were announced last month.

The awards take place at a black tie dinner at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham on December 2 after
the Fleet Van conference which takes place during the day.

The awards give fleet managers and operators the chance for glory in a job that is quite often both thankless and demanding.

Four fleet manager awards are up for grabs – for fleet managers in utilities, delivery and logistics, public sector and business.

There are also a number of awards that fleet supplier
companies can enter and a range of vehicle awards which will be decided both by readers and a panel of expert judges.

Fleet Van editor Trevor Gelken said: “I would urge all fleet
operators and managers to try for an award.

"It’s not scary and we won’t expect you to sit in front of a
panel of judges explaining why you should win.

"All you have to do is write in and tell us why you feel
you deserve an award and we’ll do the rest.

“I’m tremendously excited about our new awards and we’ve
already had a huge amount of positive feedback about them
throughout the industry.”
