GM UK Fleet has launched its first online management website which allows fleet managers to access details on all the group’s models.

The site – www.gmukfleethub.co.uk – covers all models offered under the GM UK Fleet banner consisting of Vauxhall, Saab, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Hummer.

Features include a tax calculator, full P11D price lists to download, news, product information and access to the three-day test drive programme.

There are also details of forthcoming new models such as the Insignia and next Meriva, as well as a contact and support section which is broken down into three sectors – fleets running one to four vehicles, two to 25 vehicles and 25-plus vehicles.

The site mirrors GM UK Fleet’s approach to its business, with several brands on offer.

The company believes that by having a range of products from a number of manufacturers, it can go into a company and offer cars for all purposes, from pool car to the managing director’s vehicle.

Maurice Howkins, director of GM UK Fleet, said: “In order to achieve the optimum fleet for a business, decisions regarding vehicle selection require extensive research, and are often complex and time-consuming.

“We have therefore provided a clear and concise user-friendly tool which will allow fleet operators to use a single resource which provides the ability to navigate to our range of products and services at the click of a button.”

Mr Howkins added: “With the growing workload on business today, we hope this solution supports the ‘one-stop shop’ approach that we are taking with our GM UK portfolio and truly benefits fleet decision-makers.”

The launch of the website comes at a key time for the company, with Vauxhall about to launch its most important new model in years.

The Insignia, which replaces the Vectra, will be unveiled next month at the London Motor Show and is due to go on sale in the UK later this year.

Next year will also see the launch of a new Astra range, previewed in our ‘spyshot’ article.
