The Road Haulage Association launching new campaign

The Road Haulage Association has launched a campaign to get duty on diesel reduced to bring it in line with petrol.

RHA chief executive Roger King said: “Today’s clean diesel is environmentally better than petrol.

Yet it makes less sense now to buy a diesel car.

The Government should reduce diesel duty so that the litre price is broadly the same as the petrol equivalent.”
