Boris funds low emission taxis

London mayor Boris Johnson has announced
£1 million of funding to trial low-emission taxis.

The funding is provided by Transport for London and Cenex, the national centre of excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies.

The money will be used to introduce a low-carbon taxi demonstration project.
