Events round-up: Curry and Gration lead the debate

Broadcasters Declan Curry and Harry Gration have been confirmed as chairmen for the annual Fleet News Hit for Six conferences.

Mr Curry will chair the Hit for Six South Conference in Oxford on September 16, while Mr Gration is to chair the Hit for Six North Conference in Leeds/Bradford on September 30.

The Hit for Six conferences are created by fleet managers for fleet managers.

Each year, Fleet News surveys the industry to gain a broad view of the most important issues facing fleet operators.

The responses from hundreds of fleets are then used to create the content for the events.

The events cover the six key issues of risk management, grey fleet management, green fleet management, effective purchasing policies, driver management and future fleet choices.

Most of the speakers are confirmed, including Graham Feest, secretary of the Association of Industry Road Safety Officers and Mark Lamb, senior crash investigator, Kent Police.
