Don’t miss out – apply NOW for your place at CCIA 2008

More than 2,000 fleet decision-makers and leasing industry executives have pre-registered for CCIA 2008.

With more than 200 cars to test-drive and a host of displays and exhibitions, make sure you don’t miss out

There is just a fortnight to go for fleet managers and leasing company executives to sign up for the UK’s biggest drive-and-decide fleet event – Company Car In Action 2008.

More than 2,000 fleet decision-makers have already pre-registered for the exclusive opportunity to drive some of the latest vehicles from leading fleet brands at the event, on June 17, 18, 19 at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire.

Manufacturers who are bringing along a range of products to choose from are BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Citroen, Ford, Honda, Hummer, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Saab, Subaru and Vauxhall.

Between them they represent the vast majority of brands used by fleet operators.

All the latest models will be available to put through their paces on test circuits specifically designed for the role.

These test routes, ranging from a hill route to a high-speed bowl where professionals can take cars to well in excess of 100mph, are normally closed to the public.

But for three days this month, Fleet News has secured access to this high-security venue to allow fleet professionals to get behind the wheel to improve their understanding of the models on offer from key manufacturers.

Fleet representatives will then be on hand to discuss your views and any particular requirements that you may have.

The circuits

Millbrook Proving Ground is home to the finest on and off road track facilities available in Europe.

High Speed Bowl

Two miles of banked track where you can drive up to 100mph, and experience speeds of 100mph+ with a professional at the wheel.

Alpine Track

Twisting and turning around hairpin bends and heart-stopping drops, this track tests the nerve and skill of every driver.

Off-Road Course

Designed to test every off-road driving skill. The course carves its way through tough off-road terrain, demanding absolute concentration and control with every turn of the wheel.

Pro-drives

Professional drivers will take performance cars to the limit while you are firmly strapped into the passenger seat. An absolute must for CCIA 2008.

Added-value exhibitions help make the most of your day
Company Car In Action offers much more than test drives – it provides valuable advice and information that could make a difference to your business.

Exhibitors at the event include 1 CAR 1, which is the official provider of transport services to CCIA 2008, Alternative Route Finance, Corporate Car Club, euroShell card, Navteq, Masterlease, Motorcycle Management, Road Angel Fleet, Winn Assist and many more.

Innovations this year include the Fleet Tax Beaters display – a line-up of some of the greenest cars available in key sectors.

With fuel prices rocketing, fleets need to understand the choices available to bring their emissions and fuel costs down and this section is designed to help you make the right choice.

Among the cars on show will be models that qualify for the new 10% ultra-low CO2 benefit-in-kind tax band which was introduced in April.

The event also has two sections dedicated to other areas of business transport, with Commercials in Business and Bikes in Business showing the latest products from the LCV and motorbike markets.
