How was your first day?
It felt great to be taking the helm in a firm I’ve worked for since 2000 in such a fantastic team.

What has been your greatest challenge so far?
Making sure I leave the office in time to get to the gym on my way home!

And your greatest achievement?
Our business goals are always intentionally a stretch, so it was good to have a very strong first quarter and to come in ahead of target.

How is the fleet industry changing?
Some leasing players are feeling the effects of the credit squeeze. T

Thankfully, we are not one of them. In the longer term, I think ‘decarbonisation’ will become a keyword for all fleets.

What are you working on at the moment?
We are implementing a major new customer.

It’s been a big commitment but we always do whatever it takes to ensure a 100% job.

What is your ideal weekend?
Water skiing or jet skiing down on the south coast is the perfect way for me to unwind – leaving the BlackBerry at home!
