Electronic car rental voucher launched

Europcar and Sabre have jointly released an electronic voucher service.

Similar to electronic ticketing for airlines, the Sabre Car eVoucher facilitates invoicing and account management for corporate customers.

It is integral to Europcar’s paperless programme.

The eVoucher simplifies the process at the rental counter, since the renter just needs to present his or her driver’s licence.

The new service is being offered by Europcar and Sabre in all 160 countries in the Europcar network.

Europcar international reservation datacenter director Ann-Mari Dalon said: “We are always on the lookout for opportunities to enhance customer service and the car rental experience.

"Sabre’s Car eVoucher is an innovative way to make life easier both for our customers and for our travel industry partners.”
