How was your first day?
Everyone was enthusiastic, welcoming and helpful. My over-riding impression is that service is the top priority.

How does your new role vary from your last one?
It has broadly similar responsibilities, which include generating multi-brand new business opportunities.

What has been the biggest challenge so far?
Learning new processes – and remembering everyone’s names.

How is the leasing market changing?
The credit crunch is persuading many firms to opt for the long-term financial security of having vehicles on contract hire at fixed monthly rentals, with the leasing company shouldering risk of ownership. Maintaining safe, roadworthy company vehicles is easier than managing employees’ vehicles driven on business.

What are you working on at the moment?
Several sale and leaseback opportunities and helping prospects review their requirements.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Cairns in Australia.
