Peugeot hopes its new 308 CC will continue its successful line of folding hard-top convertibles.

The 308 CC will go on show at the Paris Motor Show in September. It promises to seat four and retain the strengths of the 308 hatchback while creating its own particular feel.

Features include a head restraint air vent to warm the driver’s and passenger’s necks.

The passenger compartment will be trimmed with leather, and the folding roof will go from up to down in 20 seconds.

Power comes from a new 2.0-litre HDi diesel engine with 140bhp.
