Ford has taken the wraps off its new Ka city car ahead of its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.

The new model adopts the angular styling of its bigger brother, the new Fiesta, and Ford claims the interior continues the bright and funky theme of the original model.

Roelant de Waard, chairman and managing director of Ford of Britain, said: “The original Ka has been a huge hit in the UK with a sales record of more than 480,000 units.”
