Used van buyers are remaining cautious, causing values to fall during June.
Figures from auction house BCA show that average values for fleet and lease vans failed to break the £4,000 mark for the second month in a row.
The figure of £3,827 represented a 3.8% drop on May’s figure, or £152.
The followed a 3.5% drop, or £147, between April and May.
Duncan Ward, BCA’s UK business development manager for commercial vehicles, said: “The average value across all sectors dropped to £3,499 in June, a fall of nearly £200 on May’s figures and the biggest monthly drop we have seen this year.
“Average values have fallen by more than £350 compared to those recorded in January 2008.”
