Asset recovery service launched

A sign of the times - Manheim DeFleet Services has launched an asset management and recovery service to help recover vehicle assets.

“In a period of continued economic uncertainty, the efficient management of assets and effective recovery of vehicles can make a huge difference to a company’s bottom line and has never been more important,” said David Mercer, managing director, Manheim DeFleet Services.

“There are significant credit write-offs in the asset financing industry at the moment and the introduction of this service will help our customers to reduce costs and recover monies more quickly from defaulting customers”.

The service provides a web-based portal to help in the inspection, collection and recovery of vehicles where the contract has been terminated.

Each client can define bespoke ‘rules of engagement’ for dealing with end users.

The service provides debt counselling, payment collection and shortfall recovery services.
