Ian Berry, fleet sales manager, Skoda
How was your first day?
Brilliant, I travelled to the head office in Milton Keynes where my new manager gave me the guided tour.
How does your new job differ from your last role at Thrifty?
At Thrifty a customer might only need a vehicle for a couple of days, whereas at Skoda it will be with the customer for a number of years. So it is vital you get everything right.
What are you working on at the moment?
Making sure as many customers and potential customers are aware of the new Superb.
How is fleet changing?
It is changing at a tremendous pace. Skoda is adapting to these changes and is focused on delivering what fleet managers are looking for.
What do you think has been your greatest achievement in the role so far?
I am building up my product and industry knowledge and seeing as many customers as possible.
How do you relax after a long day at work?
When I’m not spending time with my children, I try to
relax in my gym or on the Nintendo Wii.
