Lloyds TSB Autolease has won two sole supply public sector contracts in one day for the University of Nottingham and Landrillo College in Wales.

The combined value of the two contracts is approximately £1 million, with Lloyds TSB Autolease becoming the sole supplier of 55 vehicles to the two organisations on a contract hire basis.

The Lloyds TSB Autolease public sector team, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, have a UK fleet in excess of 23,000 vehicles, which is more than 1 in 5 of all public sector leased vehicles.

The University of Nottingham chose Lloyds TSB Autolease as sole supplier for their 32 vehicles, made up of a selection of commercial vehicles and cars to be used across a number of university sites.

Landrillo College chose to sign a further three year contract as Lloyds TSB Autolease was able to provide a "tailored solution to reducing the environmental impact of their fleet".

Gary Hamilton, business development manager in the public sector team at Lloyds TSB Autolease, said of the contracts: “They are a result of a long term commitment to provide both organisations with consultation on how their fleet policies can meet their environmental and financial objectives, which made it particularly satisfying to secure them."
