Green fleet trial initiative

United Biscuits has become Lloyds TSB Autolease’s first customer to use its new Green Trial Fleet, which delivers a selection of the greenest vehicles to an organisation for two weeks.

Drivers are able to see, drive and assess the cars against each other before deciding on their next car.

The company selected 11 vehicles including a Toyota Prius, Ford Focus Econetic and three low emission BMWs.

Bob Brightwell, head of corporate communication, United Biscuits, said: “We want to encourage our staff to think about how they can improve their environmental impact.”

Noelyn Proud, corporate relationship manager, Lloyds TSB Autolease, said: “The Green Trial Fleet has helped United Buscuit employees make smarter vehicle buying decisions and we’re excited about helping them take these forward.”
