Breakdown Monday for RAC

The RAC saw a 35% increase in breakdown call outs on January 5, the first working day back for many following the festive break.

The RAC’s Phil Ryan, said: “Patrols attended more than 13,500 breakdowns on this day alone, one of the busiest days since records began in 1993.”

The main cause was flat batteries.
