Volvo maps driver behaviour

A fleet of 100 Volvo V70 and XC70 cars, equipped with cameras and computers are included in a huge European field test project, which will monitor driver behaviour to understand how motorists react in complex traffic situations.

The three-year research project is part of the EU-project called EuroFOT (Field Operational Tests) which has the ambition to develop a safer, cleaner and more efficient road transportation system in Europe.
