The £2 million investment comes less than a year since Manheim Auctions started operations at Bruntingthorpe and will create a dedicated state-of-the-art 56,000 sq. ft indoor auction centre with under cover storage for 300 vehicles. The new facility, which is expected to become operational early next year, will combine both online and physical remarketing. In the meantime, Manheim Auctions will continue to operate from the existing 30,000 sq.ft. facility within the Bruntingthorpe site.

Working in partnership with C Walton Limited, the owners of Bruntingthorpe, Manheim Remarketing aims to create a facility which offers an exciting and distinctive new proposition to vendors and a significantly enhanced experience for trade buyers.

Mike Pilkington, managing director, Manheim Remarketing added: “Manheim Auctions’ activity at Bruntingthorpe got off to a flyer this year. The auction super-centre, the best in the Midlands, further enhances Manheim’s capability and enables us to set new standards in vehicle remarketing. The £2 million investment will enable the construction of a new state-of-the-art mezzanine area above the auction lanes, providing unparalleled viewing access for buyers in addition to a restaurant, a lounge area and business meeting facilities. I am confident that the £2 million investment will further reinforce the reputations of both Bruntingthorpe and Manheim Remarketing in the years to come.”
