Adapted Vehicle Hire launch new operating system

The new Adapted Vehicle Hire (AVH) system streamlines the booking, management and invoicing processes to provide customers with an easier to use, faster, and more integrated service which, in turn, will make the selection of adapted and wheelchair accessible vehicles easier to organise for corporate, fleet and insurance users.

With the facility to provide a direct interface to customers’ own systems, the new AVH reservation and rental management application can be integrated into an organisation’s own service and product offerings, creating a more consumer-friendly approach for the rental of adapted and wheelchair accessible vehicles.

With the new reservation and management system, users can see the fleet at a glance with detailed online specification of all vehicle adaptations.

“We are continuing to invest in the quality of service and capabilities we offer and this new reservations and operating system offers the best combination of control, flexibility and ease of use, offering our customers the ultimate fleet management and reservation tool,” says newly appointed managing director of AVH, Lorraine Farnon. “Andy Brown and the team have done a great job of specifying and delivering in a matter of weeks one of the best operating systems I have ever seen in the industry, including a number of unique market leading features that will really benefit our customers and our business.

“The system provides access to route planning, asset and driver deployment tools, including movement tracking, as well as live remote transaction monitoring. We can actually time and record deliveries and collections including satellite images if required.  This enables our fleet, leasing, rental and insurance customers to monitor all the adapted vehicles they have on rent in order to improve their overall business efficiency. Live, up-to-the-minute management information means our customers remain totally in control of their rental costs, no matter which vehicle they choose.

“This new reservation system puts customer needs first, providing vital speed and cost control advantages, and reflects our ongoing focus on delivering a tailored, cost effective rental service for any business needing adapted vehicles for their own staff and customers.”
