WNS Assistance has been awarded the contract for the accident management of National Grid’s UK fleet of more than 2,500 cars, 3,000 LCVs and 300 HGVs.

WNS will provide National Grid with a full claims management service, including roadside recovery, replacement vehicle and repair via a system-integrated national network of more than 300 repairers, as well as Uninsured Loss Recovery (ULR).

National Grid also has access to an online real-time claims monitoring facility offering driver risk, repair management and ULR reports as standard.

“The contract was awarded based on the most economically advantageous tender submitted,” explained National Grid fleet manager Alistair Patterson.

“WNS demonstrated their comprehensive service, bespoke procedures and proven flexibility, as well as including an attractive commercial proposition.”
