Fraikin Ltd has appointed Peter Backhouse as chief executive officer

Fraikin Ltd has appointed Peter Backhouse as chief executive officer. Backhouse brings experience to the role after having spent 11 years in senior positions with Ryder between 1997 and 2008, including seven years as vice president and managing director of Ryder’s European business. In his most recent role he was managing director of Bunzl Healthcare Ltd, a subsidiary of Bunzl plc.

Commenting on the appointment, Laurent Bonnaure, executive vice president international at Fraikin Group explains: “Peter’s wealth of industry knowledge and expertise makes him ideally suited to lead Fraikin Ltd. The UK is a major region for the Group and one in which we are targeting continued strong growth.”

Backhouse says: “I’m especially pleased to be returning to the sector with Fraikin Ltd, and am very excited by the plans we have for developing the business and serving our customers.”
