Inchcape Fleet Solutions has won another Green Apple Award this time for its environmental best practice on and off the road.

The award, presented by The Green Organisation, was for the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS).

Within the last 12 months, the company has won two other Green Apple Awards for EMS, which includes a range of online tools to help fleets and drivers cut CO2 emissions.

Terry Bartlett, managing director of Inchcape Fleet Solutions, said: “We continue to heavily invest in online solutions, reducing our clients own environmental impact. There is no doubt that our innovative online emissions-based tools have reduced costs for businesses, leading to lower emission vehicles on the roads.

“To further develop our EMS system and ensure all staff are fully environmentally aware we have recently appointed a dedicated, full time internal auditor to ensure our environmental audit programme is maintained and non-compliances and recommendations are followed up to completion. This is a new position and demonstrates our commitment to compliance with and continual improvement of our EMS.

“Winning another award for EMS clearly shows that we are leading the fleet industry in helping public and private sector organisations to cut emissions from their vehicles.

"Cutting emissions cuts costs and that is vital both for Inchcape Fleet Solutions and our customers. We regularly receive enquiries as to our emission-reducing standards and environmental performance from both prospective and existing customers.”
