Wilsons Auctions Portadown fortnightly Fleet 2011 auction was launched last week with an entry of over 300 vehicles from all over Ireland. Products available included Renault, Peugeot, Toyota, VW and Vauxhall marques with many vehicles surpassing 100% cap – and some Renault models reaching 124% cap clean.

General manager at Wilsons Auctions Portadown, Edmund Madine, puts this success down to both the quality of vehicles on sale and high demand in the marketplace at the inaugural Fleet 2011 Auction: “The demand is there and shows no sign of abating in early 2011. The motor trade recognise that they can access guaranteed quality vehicles from Wilsons Auctions because of our strong relationships with UK based fleet vendors. Private buyers also recognise the value of these vehicles and are choosing ex fleet vehicles as an alternative to new cars in the current financial climate. This demand is attracting more motor traders to our Auctions from throughout Ireland and beyond.”

With strong sales set to continue Edmund and the team at Wilsons Auction Portadown are looking forward to the next Fleet sale on Thursday 27th January at 10am. Edmund concludes: “We already have a large entry of vehicles for the next auction with many of the UK’s largest fleet users committing to providing more stock, so this promises to be yet another successful auction.”
