Ring Automotive launches jump start technology

Ring Automotive has launched two new professional powerpacks specifically for the professional user, so that they have a reliable, consistent jump starter that will get vehicles started when needed.

The 12v 2400A TradeStart powerpack (RPP2400) is designed for garages or dealerships where they will be starting medium sized petrol cars or small diesel engines. The pure lead battery provides performance compared to standard lead acid batteries allowing for a high cranking ability, low self discharge and a long service life of up to 8-10 years.

The 12V/24v 3200A TradeStart powerpack (RPP3200) utilises the same pure lead technology for starting cars, buses, truck and agricultural vehicles. The optional 12v or 24v output makes it ideal for those fleet users operating a wide range of vehicle types.

Both units house the battery in a heavy duty impact resistant polymer casing and come with 2 metres of cable with fully insulated clips.

While both units have integrated spike protection circuitry the RPP3200 has an additional replaceable short circuit fuse to prevent battery damage.

The units come equipped with a mains charger and in-vehicle charger.
