Tracker Reporter brings benefits to Gwent Mechanical Handling

Gwent Mechanical Handling has installed telematics units in its mechanic’s vehicles to help streamline the invoicing process and enhance fleet efficiency.

A dealer for Still and Doosan forklift trucks, the company also provides a complete repair and maintenance, sales and rental service. Tracker Reporter was installed on eight vehicles to reduce the number of customer queries on invoices, but also to improve the way engineers work.

Jason Parker, from Gwent Mechanical Handling Limited, said: “Since installing Tracker Reporter we have already significantly reduced the number of customers contesting invoices.

“In addition, telematics allows us to keep track of our vehicles and our drivers, ensuring we reduce fuel wastage and stay on top of maintaining our fleet for the optimum in safety and efficiency.”
