Shell has signed a card acceptance agreement with M6toll, Britain’s first privately funded tolled motorway, to offer toll charge payments on euroShell card.

The new offering will enable customers from all fleet sizes and vehicle types, to use their euroShell card to pay for both fuel and toll charges.

Fleet managers are able to view incurred toll charges online, receive all vehicle-related expenses in a single invoice and simplify cost management.

VAT refund services are also available and the card provides secure control over fleets’ card use; managers choose where the card is accepted, what products can be paid for, and monitor transactions online.

This is the first step in Shell’s journey to enhance the service it provides UK commercial fleet customers, aiming to deliver increased convenience, control, security and savings in order to maintain its commitment to be “your partner on the road.”

Perrin Baker, senior marketing manager, Shell Commercial Fleet, said: “The M6toll is an important route for Shell fleet customers and euroShell was one of the first fuel cards to secure its toll payments as a service.

“Drivers will now be able access the premium road service much more easily, while fleet managers can monitor toll transactions online, removing the headache of receiving a number of different invoices and making cost management that bit easier.”
