SMMT’s fourth International Automotive Summit will take place on 12 June at the Clifford Chance building, 25 Bank Street, Canary Wharf alongside the 2012 Canary Wharf London Motorexpo.

Covering topics from retail to the supply chain and from international investment to low carbon technologies, the SMMT International Automotive Summit is again set to be the ‘must attend event’ of the year. Previous Summits saw hundreds of the industry’s most senior executives as well as the country’s top politicians, speaking on some of the key policies affecting the UK and global automotive scene.

Commenting, Paul Everitt, SMMT chief executive said, “Canary Wharf is a world class location for SMMT’s fourth International Automotive Summit. UK automotive has attracted over £4 billion of international investment this year alone and has enormous potential for future growth. By taking the Summit to the heart of the financial sector, we can clearly demonstrate the investment opportunities available within the industry to the banks and financial institutions who have the power to support our continued low carbon ambitions.”

Graeme Carver, Motorexpo ceo said; “We are delighted to host and sponsor the SMMT’s fourth International Automotive Summit. Canary Wharf is a unique location and offers the perfect backdrop for the industry’s most senior executives to come together. We look forward to welcoming them, our exhibitors and all our visitors to the 2012 Canary Wharf London Motorexpo”.
