Manheim Remarketing’s investment at Bruntingthorpe, its largest auction centre in the Midlands, comes less than a year since Manheim started operations at the location. During that time a dedicated state-of-the-art 56,000 sq.ft indoor auction centre with under cover storage for 300 vehicles has been created. The new facility combines both online and physical remarketing.

On opening this landmark auction centre, John Bailey, ceo, Manheim UK & Europe said: “Manheim Auctions’ activity got off to a flyer here at the beginning of last year and the recent £2 million investment, in partnership with Bruntingthorpe’s owners C Walton Ltd., will further reinforce the reputations of both Bruntingthorpe and Manheim Remarketing in the years to come. The auction super-centre, the best in the Midlands, further enhances Manheim’s capability and enables us to set new standards in vehicle remarketing.”

The facilities at Bruntingthorpe enable Manheim Remarketing to offer a remarketing solution from a single location. Bruntingthorpe offers extensive storage as well as comprehensive mechanical and bodywork repair facilities for major fleets, rental companies and manufacturers. Working in partnership with C Walton Limited, the owners of Bruntingthorpe, Manheim Remarketing has created a facility which offers a new proposition to vendors and an enhanced experience for trade buyers.

Fleet auctions at Bruntingthorpe take place at 10:30am every Wednesday and the new Monday fleet and dealer auction programme gets underway on the 14th March with a centre for a day auction on behalf of Lex Autolease.
