BCA Birmingham recorded a great result in the special 20/20 Cricketing Themed Sale staged last week, featuring a shared sales platform between ING Car Lease and LeasePlan.

A significant 345 vehicles were sold on the day with the main participants both recording very healthy conversion rates and residual values. LeasePlan sold 99% of their entry, while ING Car Lease achieved a 90% conversion rate, with both achieving in excess of 100% of CAP Clean.

The event featured a great selection of top-drawer, ready-to-retail vehicles and attracted over 150 registered buyers to BCA Birmingham, who competed with nearly 400 Live Online internet bidders.

The event also raised £250 for the Acorns Hospice - a local charity offering respite care for seriously ill children and their families – through the sale of cricketing memorabilia.

Andrew Scott from ING Car Lease commented “The auction hall at BCA Birmingham was packed from the first lot and the crowd remained until the very final vehicle was sold. There was a real buzz throughout the sale and some very competitive bidding between the hall and online bidders.”

Matt Cranny from LeasePlan also commented “BCA Birmingham pulled out all the stops to provide a great event for both vendors and the buyers. We were delighted with the results.”

Kathy Horsey, BCA general manager corporate sales added “The draw of such a wide selection of stock from these two Blue Chip vendors proved irresistible to our buyers. The sale generated a fantastic result for two of our most valued customers.”
