Manheim Auctions in Gloucester wins commercial vehicle online sales honours

Manheim Auctions, Gloucester sold the highest number of commercial vehicles online across Manheim’s UK network in 2010. In the week before Christmas Gloucester and Haydock were neck and neck. In the end it was the team at Gloucester that claimed victory with total sales of 1,691 commercial vehicles compared with 1,523 at Haydock.

James Davis, general manager, Commercial Vehicles, Manheim Remarketing, said: “The competitive rivalry is great to see in our business and reflects the passion of our people. In truth, the real winners are our customers. Manheim’s industry leading position was established in 2005 when we were the first to launch online commercial vehicle auctions. We sold just a handful of vans across our entire network and the growth since then has been phenomenal. Simulcast continues to grow and grow and is acknowledged as an integral part of the commercial vehicle remarketing landscape.”
