Wilsons Auctions Portadown celebrate 75th year

Wilsons Auctions Portadown is celebrating the Wilsons Auctions 75th Anniversary this week with a Fleet Anniversary Auction Special tomorrow (Thursday, February 10) at the Portadown complex.

According to general manager Edmund Madine, the Anniversary Fleet Auction Special is something of a milestone.

“We have been running this auction fortnightly in Portadown for over 10 years now and it has been going from strength to strength with the Portadown branch running now for 25 years,” he said.

“Wilsons Auctions has been in business for 75 years and our founder comes from the local area, so it is fitting to be celebrating our 75th anniversary here. I personally have worked with the Wilsons family since I was at school and have been part of the business as it grew into the U.K. and Ireland’s largest independent auction house. Celebrating their 75th anniversary is something very special to me.”
