National Mobile Windscreens which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary, has extended its branch network with a new service outlet on the Isle of Wight.

The new branch at Rink Road Industrial Estate, Ryde, will meet the vehicle glass repair and replacement requirements of fleet, commercial, transport and professional drivers and motorists on the island.

Previously their service calls were handled by the Portsmouth branch whose technicians caught the ferry to respond to customer calls.

Branch manager Chris Dickinson and engineer Ian Evans, help provide glass repair or replacement service for commercial, passenger and agricultural vehicles as well as motorists, and can also arrange to handle glass requirements for specialist vehicles, motor homes, boats and caravans.

Dickinson said: “We have received a warm welcome from our customers and we are already more than 50 per cent ahead of our business target.”
