Control Risks has selected Mycompanyfleet’s FleetHR software to provide fleet management support, centralise its information, improve control of its service, maintenance and repair (SMR) work and achieve a higher quality of data.

Control Risks has over 30 years’ experience of supporting more than 5,300 clients in over 130 countries, providing major governmental and corporate clients with a range of services, and helping them manage the security, political and integrity risks to their business.
The consultancy has 34 offices across five continents in most of the world’s major cities, including London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Baghdad, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Washington, DC, New York, Mexico City and Sao Paulo.

It has a number of individual country fleet managers, who work remotely across international borders, so the web-based nature of the FleetHR system will enable them to have one, centralised database for all of their fleet data, and return a higher standard of management reports.

One part of the Control Risks business operates around 230 vehicles which have to be maintained to an extremely high level. Local third parties are used to maintain the vehicles as this ensures the fleet’s SMR requirements are carried out as efficiently as possible.

The FleetHR system streamlines this process by producing the approval documentation and providing a high level of analysis on the SMR transactions through the system’s exception dashboards.

Control Risks selected the Mycompanyfleet system because it was able to be hosted on the web for overseas access and also has the flexibility to manage local legislation for each different country and individual currencies.

“We selected FleetHR as being the most suitable system to meet our diverse fleet needs,” said Andy Amos, country manager at Control Risks. “Being web delivered, FleetHR allows us to centralise all our fleet data and information more readily, while the powerful dashboard based system highlights any areas we should be investigating, such as cost over-runs, as well as integrating extremely well with services from other suppliers, which is important to us in operational areas such as SMR.

“The system also allows us to build up data on the cost of various parts and services, and then flags up any overspend against previous invoices. Used in this way, it will allow us to manage our SMR and other costs more efficiently,” he said.

Mycompanyfleet business executive Luke Hicks said: “By deploying FleetHR in this way, we are helping Control Risks’ fleet managers to automate the management of their vehicle fleet throughout the UK, Europe and other key parts of the world and helping them measure and control operating costs more effectively.”
