Liberty Electric Cars launches after sales support for electric vehicles

Liberty Electric Cars, the clean technology company which is designing, engineering and manufacturing leading-edge electric vehicle technologies has introduced a pioneering after sales support programme for the increasing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on European roads.

Recognising the special skills, knowledge and equipment required to service and support EVs, Liberty E-Care has been created to provide independent, qualified advice to businesses and individuals with electric vehicles.

Highly skilled engineers equipped with new and unique diagnostic tools, experience in safe intervention for high voltage systems and access to the right parts to affect quality repairs can provide a host of background information on the impact of charging types and cycles on battery life, the effect of temperature on vehicle performance, the cost of replacement parts, likely failure issues, repair costs and time, conversion programmes, and residual values.

In Liberty’s fully equipped Coventry and London workshops, the Liberty’s E-Care team can carry out all major servicing and repair work on electric vehicles whether the customer requires a full service, fault diagnostics or mechanical repairs. In addition, Liberty carry stocks of and are able to source a comprehensive range of parts and accessories to help maintain and customise vehicles by using genuine original equipment parts, to ensure the vehicle remains in top condition and maintains its value. The fully mobile support engineers can assist EV owners at the roadside regardless of the time or location. For the more extreme cases of vehicle failure or damage, Liberty can transport the vehicle to the fully equipped Coventry or London workshop where the more bespoke replacement parts can be fitted, and then delivered back to the customer.

Speaking at the launch of the Liberty E-Care programme, Barry Shrier, CEO of Liberty Electric Cars, said: "Our knowledge and expertise in automotive engineering and electric vehicles is unmatched and we're pleased to offer the very highest level of service and support for all types of electric vehicles. We have already had a certain number of cutomers like Speedy and Refurb-a-sash sign up for Liberty E-Care and we're receiving enquiries from leasing and rental companies, finance houses and many other businesses."
