Mobile service key to tyre contract win

Wrightington-based One Stop Hire, the largest independent tool and equipment hirer in the North West, has appointed a new tyre service provider for its ability to carry out routine work onsite.

The agreement will see ATS Euromaster service tyres across the firm’s fleet of 30 light commercial vehicles and eight company cars. The nationwide tyre specialist was selected largely for its ability to carry out service work in the customer’s own branches – eliminating the time, cost and hassle of sending a vehicle and driver to a local tyre dealer.

Steve Hitchen, managing director of One Stop Hire, said: “Our own business is modelled around being able to provide a one-stop-shop service to our customers, and that’s exactly what we need from a tyre service provider.

"ATS Euromaster has the expertise to supply and fit tyres for both our cars and light commercials, and can carry out the work in the most convenient locations.”

One Stop Hire was formed in 2006 as a ‘virtual hire’ website, but has expanded across eight depots, more-than-doubled its turnover and acquired more than 7,500 pieces of plant during the last two years.
