Hyundai brings new i40 Tourer to virtual life

Hyundai brings to life the all-new i40 Tourer using image recognition technology from Aurasma as part of the Company’s biggest-ever integrated advertising campaign to support the launch of the new product.

The new Hyundai i40 application, available for free download now from the App Store and Android Market, provides consumers with the opportunity to experience the new i40 instantly through video content embedded in selected print and poster advertisements.

Andrew Cullis, marketing director, Hyundai Motor UK explains: “The i40 Tourer has already created a stir within the market place by providing a stylish, technologically advanced and value for money new alternative in the medium family estate car sector – dominated by more established manufacturers. We have created a campaign that really showcases our brand philosophy of ‘New Thinking. New Possibilities’. Our fully integrated campaign ensures that every consumer touch point conveys the right message to the right people. And we’ve innovated by using cutting edge mobile technology to bring the print and poster campaign to life.”

The all-new Hyundai i40 Tourer – on sale now, has a starting price of £18,395 on-the-road and an insurance group rating of 12E. It offers CO2 emissions from 113 g/km and fuel economy from 65.7mpg, with the lowest ‘Benefit in Kind’(BIK) cost, the Hyundai i40 range is an attractive alternative for company car drivers.
