Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental today announced that its London fleet had surpassed the 1,000 vehicles “on rent” mark, less than three years after opening their first branch in the capital.

The landmark achievement is, in part, thanks to the demand created by the London Olympics.

Success has been so great that Burnt Tree has announced the East London branch would be relocating to a new, larger site in October this year – a move that will enable the company to further develop its presence in London.

East London depot manager Vic Payne said: “Thanks to a lot of hard work from everyone we’ve had three amazing years, but we’re not going to stop now.

“This next move opens up a whole new world of opportunity – in conjunction with the Heathrow branch our aim is to double the size of our current fleet in London by 2013”.
